The Donnas Take It Off

“Take It Off” is the hit single from The Donnas 2002 album Spend the Night. It managed to peak at number 19 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. It has also appeared on the Playstation 2 version of the guitar-strumming game Guitar Hero and as a download for the Xbox version of Guitar Hero II.
It’s also the subject of a video, like most hit singles, in which the girls are performing on a stage to a rather bored looking crowd - it looks like a music contest - until the band themselves gets on. The judges had previously bombed a number of bands but the girls manage to take home the gold and the trophy.
And for whatever reason, as they’re leaving, they toss the trophy to a group of guys who had actually been excited to see them play. Go figure.
